    Just a quick email to say that 1DayLater's summer charity event - Webdurance now has an official website - huzzah!

    Webdurance will link web designers, programmers and writers with charities to give their websites a new lease of life overnight. We're aiming for around 6 teams (made up of 6 people) to volunteer their time to this great cause. It will also be great exposure for all involved, and for their companies.

    Middlesbrough's Pop Up Shop Initiative

    Middlesbrough has joined the growing empty shop movement that is opening up prime retail spaces to creative businesses.

    What is it?
    The spaces will be available  Free of charge to creative businesses that want to develop their business and showcase their work to the public.
    This unique experience is ephemeral with artists and makers appearing for a short space of time creating a vibrant ‘Pop-Up’ retail environment.  Middlesbrough will be leading the way in the Tees Valley joining the international

    Crossover is now inviting owners and senior managers of companies to apply for places on our pilot Business Lab, to be held in Leeds on 25 and 26 February 2010.

     

    There are three core objectives of the Business Lab programme:

     

    • to assist creative companies located in the North of England acquire the skills, capabilities and assets required to do business effectively and to achieve growth in the converging digital marketplace
    • to share understanding of the characteristics and challenges of the emerging
