DigitalCity Innovation supports the ongoing work by the DigitalCity initiative to grow the digital and creative industries clusters. We aim to attract and retain new graduate talent, to develop digital skills and improve employability and inclusion and to enhance cross cutting digitally based innovation for long term business development.

Building upon the strengths of Teesside University, DCI is dedicated to turning ideas into businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, enabling communities and ensuring that digital skills and capability are appropriate for competitiveness.

The DigitalCity Fellowship Scheme
If you have an innovative product, research project or intellectual property to take to market, then the DigitalCity Fellowship scheme is here to help you.

Fellowships are available to individuals and teams with an original project idea, who reside in the North East of England and who have graduated from University. We offer a business support grant of £4000 which is to be used for living expenses whilst developing your idea. We have a pool of industry experts who are available to mentor you and each project has a maximum of 4 days of mentoring support available as well as the opportunity to attend workshops, seminars and networking events.
