Little Littles is part of the European Animal design Studio (http://www.europeananimal.co.uk) specifically dealing with visualising information.
The Little Littles IDI fellowship started out with the aim to make visual learning tool for primary school pupils and moved on to the idea of creating an online hub where schools could share and compare work from the various projects they undertake. The developer Alistair Colling (http://www.alistaircolling.co.uk) was brought onboard to help with this as a mentor.
This site is still being developed, but aside from it, the Fellowship brought European Animal and Little Littles involvement in more projects and continued work with Alistair. Work gained from being part of the Fellowship includes:
An interactive mapping project entitled Northe for the Newcastle Theatre Northern Stages as part of it's 40th birthday project entitled Northern Stages. Again working with Alistair Colling, you can find out more and take part in the project at http://www.northernstages.co.uk/northe
Web and Branding design for Haus Projects, a project management and production company specialising in the digital, creative and cultural sectors, they also completed a Fellowship at the IDI. http://www.haus-projects.com
Web and Branding design for Nick Able Music. This is a work in progress but Nick was also a Fellow at the IDI.
One half of European Animal also works on computer and design based projects with schools, one specifcally dealt with presenting information with film, helping a group of 13-14 year olds summarise the feedback from a 3 day design event they organised. You can read about more of this work at http://www.tstorey.com
The Fellowship for European Animal became a lot more than the idea they started out with.
